Dom's Project Manager is my part of my Level 6 dissertation project on Examining what features can be implemented in a Project Management App to improve Project Management. This version of the app is built on top of Kanboartd.org, providing great features to get your project going.
This guide will help you make the most of the app

In order to use this app, you will need an account. Signing up is easy and only takes a few steps...
Create an account
- Click this link to go to the registration page (This will open a new tab)
- Choose a username, this can be anything you like e.g. FirstNameSurname or your nich name
- Enter your Full name in the Name field
- Enter your email address
- Choose a password (This should include a symbol, number, lower-case and upper-case letter.
- Confirm your password
- Select your time zone (The application default is UTC)
- Select your language (the application default is English)
- Tick the box to recieve email notifications
- Select "Send email verification" This will send an email to your email account to confirm registration

You can either create a private or a standard project. A private project is best suited for individual projects.

Kanban chart #back to top
A Kanban board or chart is just one of the tools that has been included in Dom's Project Manager. It can be used to visualise work, limit work and maximise your efficiency.

Gantt Chart #back to top
A Gantt chart is a horizontal bar chart that displays your project plan over time.It features a useful timeline which you can't see in a Kanban chart.
Calendar #back to top
Calendar view enables you to see your tasks in calendar format in Monthly View, Weekly View and Daily View.
List #back to top
List view enables you to view all your project tasks. It also enables you to edit and move selected tasks to a different column in bulk. It's great if you want to assign multiple tasks to another member or change dates and times within tasks.

SCRUM is an agile process framework for managing projects. It was initially designed for software developement but is now used in other projects such as teaching.

Kanban was generally designed to be a scheduling system. it consists of cards, also known as kanbans on a process chart. It allows project members to visualise project workflow

Bug Tracking - #back to top
A bug or issue tracking system is a way of tracking problems within a project. It's usually used in software developement, hence the term "bug" is being used. However issue tracking can be applied to any project. Check out the video below to understand how to use Dom's Project Manager as an effective way of tracking issues.
